In this article we are going to quickly go through the steps needed to grow your own Kratom.

We want to first start off by saying that growing Kratom is extremely hard.

To begin, you need fresh seeds which are nearly impossible to find in the United States and Canada and even in many Southeast Asian countries where Kratom mostly comes from.

Many places claim to sell Kratom seeds, but they may not be fresh.

If you happen to get lucky and find fresh sprouts, there keep reading:

Steps for Growing Your Own Kratom:

a) Find the freshest seeds/sprouts possible

b) Planting kratom outdoors is most likely the worst way to attempt to grow this botanical. You need a light, humidity, and temperature-controlled environment. Kratom seeds like moist, humid environments. Humidity is one of the factors that changes the alkaloid content of the kratom leaves. The average humidity in areas where Kratom thrives is between 72 and 74 percent. So if you setup a greenhouse area, make sure the soil has ample moisture and the room is very humid with lots of light.

c) Use humus, fertile rich soil and fertilize as the plant grows, especially in the early stages until you see that the roots have found a spot and they are thriving.

d) Don’t over water, but keep the soil moist. You can do this by using a drip system rather than watering once per day.

e) Try to keep artificial light or sunlight during the germination period low.

f) Keep humidity levels as close as possible to the seed’s country of origin.

This quick list might not sound too challenging but the truth is that growng your own Kratom is extremely difficult.
